The 2026 edition of the Youth Ambassadors Program (YAP) is an experiential-learning journey for Emirati students in China, offering fully sponsored modules during winter, summer and key Chinese public holidays. Across academic sessions, industry visits, cultural activities and project-based learning, students gain direct exposure to China’s innovation and society while strengthening cross-cultural understanding and professional ties. Over the program’s duration, they develop a unique perspective and skills to contribute meaningfully to future UAE–China cooperation.
Who can apply

Emirati students who are currently enrolled in universities in China

Graduation Requirements
To graduate as a Youth Ambassador, participants must complete both components of the program:
- Learning components:
- Complete 5 out of 6 Core Modules
- Complete 2 Elective Modules of choice
- Maintain full attendance and active participation
- Practical experience:
- Undertake a project-based learning experience in China
- Submit a final project report demonstrating applied learning

Since its establishment in 2012, the UAE Youth Ambassadors Program (YAP) has built a legacy of nurturing a new generation of Emirati youth who embody national values while engaging internationally with purpose, curiosity, and leadership.
The 2026 edition builds on this legacy, preparing the next generation to represent the nation’s values with confidence and to build enduring connections that contribute to strengthening UAE’s long-term global engagement.
